I'm a designer. It started when I was a kid. I drew daily, and from an early age, I was doing what I could immersing myself in not just drawing pretty pictures but mastering what I saw in my head and bringing it to paper. How-to books, sketchbooks, and my 8-inch by 8-inch pencil case would way down my 5th-grade backpack.

My independent learning style brought me to move online for my high school years. This decision allowed me to focus on the things that mattered to me starting with my surreal paintings that would later get into The Phil-Brook, and my love for animation that was resparked. I got into Tulsa Technology’s Visual Graphic Design Program giving me a foundation to bring what I loved in a commercial setting. Helping me design my character not just for the screen but for toy design as well. I started to independently look at what it took to be in the animation industry; going to panels on Zoom, meeting people at Netflix, and working as a storyboard artist for a small comic online.

The second year of schooling with Tech was packed. With the flexibility my online classes gave me, I signed up for their animation program as well. This was one of the best years I’ve honestly ever had in school. I was living and breathing art in a way I hadn’t before. i got into fashion design so I was working on graphic design in the morning, animation in the afternoon, and coming home to work on projects from sewing, drawing, or working on my game Lucky Kitty!

That year I balanced this workload with investing in making good friends and going to events investing in networking around Tulsa.

This last year I had a moment after I graduated from my VGD class that if there was one thing I would regret in life would be not pursuing singing. singing was something I loved as a kid but never felt the safety to pursue until this year. As so continue to watch me grow in my passions I'm excited to see where this one flourishes.
